The Ode to Castlevania expansion for Vampire Survivors<\/a> adds an entire roster of vampire hunters, including Soma Cruz of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow fame. Here is how to unlock Soma Cruz in Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania<\/p>

How to Get Soma Cruz in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania<\/h2>

Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania players can unlock Soma Cruz by defeating the Gergoth with Julius Belmont<\/strong>. The character can be unlocked by finding the second coffin<\/a> on the Ode to Castlevania stage, which can be done without any other requirements as long as you are fast enough to get to the coffin.<\/p>

The Gergoth can be found towards the eastern side of the stage within the winding staircase of the castle<\/strong>. You will have to defeat a few bosses to unlock all the areas before the staircase, but there is a warp point just south of the staircase. <\/p>

Those who have already reached that point can just warp there and then walk up north. The Gergoth boss can be activated by stepping on the red circle symbol on the ground<\/strong>. Gergoth may seem familiar to those who have played multiple Castlevania entries, as the giant head with two legs is a recurring boss.<\/p>

Defeat the Gergoth boss to receive a treasure chest with a random weapon or evolution<\/a>. There will be no immediate indication you have unlocked Soma Cruz until the run has ended. Once defeated, you can safely quit the run<\/strong> and go back to the main menu.<\/p>

Soma Cruz must then be purchased from the character selection screen with gold<\/strong> to fully unlock him. The cost will be determined by how many Ode to Castlevania characters<\/a> you have unlocked already. Soma comes with the Hand Grenade weapon by default and will gain +1% Might for every level gained during a run.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
